Breakout

No 5 mile limit anymore and the sun was shining so .... yes, we went to the seaside! To Longniddry Bents in fact where we walked along the beach for miles with the wind behind us and, unsurprisingly, miles back with the wind in our faces. Full moon and the tide was in, so there wasn’t much beach to walk on but luckily there weren’t all that many other folk about.
Driving home we passed a Granton pub whose clients were enjoying its newly invented beer-garden (tarmac). The local social distancing 2-centimetre rule was being strictly followed.
