Longdendale

The view across Longdendale from South to North at Torside Clough.

The Field Barn and the field boundary wall patterns make it a favourite.

I seem to have been lost for words to add to my Blipfotos recently but have been managing to get some walks in the local countryside so I will add some photos from previous days.

Today:  I saw a Roe Deer (no photo - camera was in my pack)  in the afternoon and some very interesting birds including Stonechats with youngsters (extra photos)

Added a week later:  Now able to mention (as it has offically been publicised by the landowners) that Peregrine Falcons have bred in the valley for the first time in a decade.  I did spot them at a distance a while ago add photo
