All by myself!

Another week......another trip to Southport!
This little girl had the entire beach to herself, not a soul in sight! Though this was perfect for todays Mono Monday challenge "Alone".

Slept ok......woke up just after 7, dozed on and off after that.
We had decided to go out somewhere today as the forecast was ok, although very windy! Needless to say we ended up in Southport again! Its becoming a bit of a habit......we enjoyed a coffee and a bacon roll for lunch, sat outside, sheltered from the wind, it really was quite warm.

We got blown to the end of the Pier, which is now fully open. The tide was on its way out, so we did see the sea today, which as anyone from the North West of England will know is a rare occurrence in Southport ;-)

We clocked up 12k steps over the course of almost 4 hours. The whole place was very quiet, much more so than we expected. Similarly the traffic, other than the number of wagons now back on the motorways.

Back just before 5, time for a brew sat in the summerhouse with the sun shining. I sat listening to some music when hub went indoors to watch the news.

Dinner this evening was chicken & chorizo pasta bake, with a mushroom based sauce, crispy on top,witth parmesan, really tasty, served with broccoli, well for me anyhow ;-)

Ive spent some of this evening updating my calendar with things we hope to do in the coming months, fingers crossed.

Tomorrow looks like being a total wash out according to the weather forecast....:-(
