Lots of Colour!

I decided to go brave the elements (the people not nature) on Saturday by visiting Pohick Bay Regional Park which is right off the Potomac River in Northern Virginia.  

Although we have and continue to be in a heat wave, the weather was quite nice from about 6:00 AM until 7:30 AM.  Then the humidity and the people started showing up so we abandoned the park and went to nearby Mason Neck State Park.  We were only there about 30 minutes and spent most of the time dodging folks w/o masks.  So a quick outing but it was nice to do something other than work from home!
