Garden sunflowers

The first of the garden sunflowers bloomed today for Mrs BR’s birthday. She planted the seeds to grow these for her late father as he always loved the sun and bright flowers. It seemed really apt for the first to bloom on her birthday.

Our daughter came with gifts and beautiful raspberry cakes which was so lovely.
Sadly Mrs BR hasn’t been well for a few days so we will celebrate with the children at the weekend instead.
Thank you for all the kind comments on the children’s photos with the lambs and ducklings yesterday. The children will be thrilled when we show them :)
