MonoMonday: "Alone"

Many thanks to 60plus who is hosting MonoMonday this month: she's chosen "Alone" as today's challenge.

On my mornming walk today I came across this old fence post standing alone in a little copse, and thought with a bit of jiggery-pokery it could make a suitable subject for the theme.

I wonder if it says to itself, "I just can't face myself alone again..."?*
