Lake Elizabeth

A year exactly since I last posted, it is good to be back!

Due to horrible cold weather, but desperately needing to get out and about, we had a day's outing to Lake Elizabeth in the Otway Forest Park.

This lake was formed when a landslide blocked the river in the '50s. The stumps of the tall submerged trees from the valley floor still stand guard over the platypus and birds life.
