WE HAD A VISITOR

Spent most of the day working in the garden, as you do, and was delighted to see this lovely Damsel Fly.  He/she wasn't near the pond but sitting on one of the shrubs.  I rushed in to get the camera, expecting it to be gone when I returned but thankfully was happy to pose for me.

We have cut down the Forsythia which was dominating far too much but now we have a large root to contend with.  After visiting google for advice and reading reports on various products we have yet to make a decision.  Any advice out there?!

Now a dull Monday morning and much colder. Even the Robin is telling us Winter is approaching, I trust he is wrong.
