About to turn

Rainy evening harvest

It rained late afternoon - hallelujah! D. and I had been out shopping (a rare happening even in normal times) and got caught in a downpour. I was so glad - watering the garden had really whipped me this morning, and I wasn't ready to face it again in the evening - until we drove the quarter mile home and found it dry as a bone. It thundered and we lost power, so cooking sesame chicken tonight was a dicey proposition, but stayed dry until I went out to pick some salad. Then it finally rained, and felt great.

Setting up arrangements for the house, bunny and garden while we'll be gone. W. has decided not to drive home tomorrow but to stay on, which I'm glad about.

Hope you all have a good week ahead.
