My girls

This morning I got up early to bake a loaf of bread for Margaret, who is taking care of my girls until we have everything ready for them, hopefully later this week! We had a super chat and a cuppa and a bit of time with the girls. It was all very cheery on what has been another day which lurched from brief sunny intervals to horizontal rain with 40-50mph winds!
I picked a few red currants this morning . I think a couple of sunny warm days and we will have a bumper crop. There are so many in the fruit cage and all managed to survive 24 hours of gales. Fingers crossed for that sunshine.
I brought home a dozen eggs from Margaret's. She collects at least 4 everyday and often more so can't use them all even though she knows she can have as many as she likes. We had omelette and home baked chips for dinner!
Barry spent another day in the loft, wrestling with insulation boards and clearing out muck and rubbish that was residing up there!
