In the Tropfloch

We set off late, on a hike that turned out much longer than my estimate of 10km, it was 15km! There was also much more up and down too. Well the hike was amazing, even though to say we got a total soaking would be an underestimate! We parked up at the Chüematte Hut, at about 1700m, then headed over the superb limestone and sandstone landscape just below the Siebenhängst peaks. The idea was to go and find out what this Tropfloch marked on the map was. Well it was an underground cave with good access. We climbed down about 50 m, but there seemed to be lots of junctions, so we came out again. The walk back to the car was mainly in a thunderstorm with very heavy rain for about 3 hours!
