Spirea

Current blip. When I tended the post office gardens yesterday I had to trim the browned spent flower heads back and a few were still pink so I brought them home and made a small bouquet to enjoy while I work at home. They are a favorite (I say that a lot) ((and I mean it!))(((I have a lot of favorite flowers)))
   I didn't go anywhere for the 4th, just another work day for me. I did sit outside at dusk hoping to see people in town send up some fireworks and I was not disappointed, not many but they sure were pretty. Not much traffic all day, I think people went to spend holiday with family or friends elsewhere.
   I watched the movie Dream Girls from 2006. What a powerful movie! I liked the ending.
  Today it is sunny, hot and humid again. Looking forward to another quiet day.
