Rhonda and Her New Apron

Dear Diary,

A lovely day of visiting friends and family, socially distanced of course.  I made this apron for my cousin's wife by hand using fabric that I had.  I just have to keep my hands busy and I have all the masks I need.  The blue plate in the foreground has salmon and cheese canapés.  My dear friends, who went with me to the Burren last year, sent me a gift basket of Scottish smoked salmon and cheese made on the Burren so I shared the wonderful treat.  Now, a quiet Sunday.  Louisa May was not happy with me being away!
