Bee Saviour

This bee sat on a flower in my back garden for over two and a half hours.
I thought it was dead, but it's wee legs were still moving.

I coaxed it into a glass bowl with half a teaspoonful of sugar and water, not expecting much to happen.
The bee drank heartily, had a three minute rest and then buzzed off into the sky full of energy. 

Result !!

Later, it retuned with a whole squadron of its friends and they dropped off a slab of honey as a thank you.
