Opening up again

Pubs, restaurants and hair dressers opened up again today. I wasn’t quick enough to book myself a haircut but Ollie got up at 7.30 (the earliest he’s been up in 4 months I think!) to head to the barbers. He didn’t have to queue for too long but said it had really built up by time he left. He then went back to work at the pub this afternoon. No more furlough for him!

I wasn’t overly keen on heading out anywhere but David was invited to the te opening of the rugby club bar so I ended up walking down there with the dog for a drink. It felt very safe as we were all outside and could maintain a safe distance and it was good to feel a sense of normality returning.
