1st Birthday.

It was Mr Ws granddaughter Islas 1st Birthday today. We popped round with her gifts including this Jelly Cat Giraffe. She took a bit of a disliking to Mr W today for some reason and spend the time we were there screaming but it was her Birthday so she cried if she wanted to!!!

His other daughter Alex also popped round with his Belated Father's Day gift. Mr W is a stickler for the lockdown rules and insisted we went outside in the rain as Alex would have been 1 too many person allowed inside and there was certainly no cuddling of grandchildren.

Today also marked the 1st day of opening for pubs and restaurants. I have a feeling there might be another spike in a few weeks time. There is no way SD'ing is going to happen after a few pints!!!

I spent the afternoon finishing a crochet cat. I'm going to teach the girls how to make one so made a prototype first!!! I was rather pleased with the result. It was a pattern I bought off Etsy and its was surprisingly easy to follow.
