Surprise!

I arrived at the marsh today and immediately saw a group of 7 photographers with tripods and enviable lenses.  All of you who photograph wildlife know that when there is a group, there is something to see.....usually.  I quickly scanned the area and saw one lone Killdeer. Yep....must have been a celebrity Killdeer for all that attention  :)

I had a little giggle and turned to walk down the marsh and spotted a familiar looking greyish blue rump in the air so I zoomed in on him. The Great Blue Heron had caught a fish!!  Surprise!
