Moving out, moving on

After a last couple of hours sorting and saying goodbye, we left Istanbul at midday, and as we drove through the school gate I moved from High School teacher to retired.

The road was clear and long, finally arriving in Akbuk around 18.30. After unloading the car and ensuring Harry was safe, the next phase of my life began with dinner and a beer in Didim with Graham.
