Independence Day--Covid-19 Style

Lots of celebrations still going on today, but they're much smaller (as in family sized) & are minus the parades and most fireworks. I say "most" because I've read that some cities are still going to have fireworks, but the location of them hasn't been released in an effort to keep people from congregating in large groups. I personally love fireworks so in the absence of "live" ones, I've posted one of my photos from last years' celebration. We're grilling steaks for dinner and I've made Tom's favorite cucumber salad, along with another loaf of rhubarb bread. (For those of you who said you'd never heard of rhubarb bread, I've put a photo of it into the extras. The "lines" on top are longer pieces of rhubarb added as decoration.)
