Levenhall lagoons
On the radio this morning we heard a curlew and its backstory. This early evening we walked along the lagoons at Levenhall and heard, and then saw, three curlews among the flocks of birds competing for fodder in the fast flowing Esk. We were also keeping an eye out for swordfish, basking shark and dolphins but were out of luck today despite recent sightings of all three on this part of the Firth of Forth! The weather continues its unsettled theme with more rain and thick swathes of cloud.
