Another canal/river adventure

Today we explored a different part of the canal, which is actually the river Avon but used by canal boats. I met up with B and we walked the dogs through the park and then some Reed beds and some woodland until we came to a lock. We tried to go further but came to a place where the path was too over grown. We saw lots of swallows in the park swooping down to catch insects. Among the reeds we saw a reed warbler and heard its unusual song.
