Punkdaw or Jack the Lad

We have a flock of Jackdaws numbering at least 50, they seem to have adopted the roof of the school building and the playing field, they descend on the gardens looking for an easy meal. Fortunately last year we had a cage made to keep the larger birds off the feeders, otherwise they would eat everything in sight.
It has rained pretty much all day so I resorted to taking shots through the window. I think the top shot is a young Greenfinch, the other is a House Sparrow looking for insects under the window ledge. 
The wet Jackdaw seems to have a Punk hairdo.
