Happy birthday Mrs B

Happy birthday Claire.

After husband had his breakfast in bed (locations may change but habits don't) well he (as a lot of people) works very hard and thanks to him I don't so brekki in bed is a lovely weekend treat. Off we went to the jewellery quarter for a mooch and who would have thought we would bump into birthday girl and hubby looking for a special birthday pressi.

Home for moms bacon sandwiches and an afternoon if rugby. Pompa loved the game as son in law filled him in on the rules he didn't know of and now its all a little clearer and enjoyable.

Quick shower and change and off to shimla peppers for a fab curry and a good crowd followed by some horrendous karaoke and sights in balloons after. I wish I could post the best video of the year - Claire doing ragamuffin styli on the mike hilarious that and husband doing Bon Jovi air guitar

I had a couple of dances on our impromptu dance floor. Did the usual grab a straw and pretend its a Britney Spears headpiece microphone. The girls always love a britney moment.

It felt a long walk home - specially having to wait for shelly to keep hitching up her tights which she kept proudly announcing her mom had bought her 21 years ago and were the only pair she had. Unbelievable the girl who can have whatever she wants walking round in tights with her toes poking through and ladders up the heel. No wonder she hid them in her boots. I can only think they have great sentimental value - and there is NOTHING wrong with that whatsoever although it has given me a chuckle

I know Claire is struggling coming to terms with being 40 and I think I know the true reason why so I am going to wish every night this year for my beautiful buddy for exciting news this year there is always a way dreams can come true. Love you Mrs B xxx

Oh I do wish I could post this video it really is the funniest thing so far this year. But probably best to keep her anonymity intact to save her blushes.
