The Two Towers

The tourists might all send postcards of Trinity College or O'Connell Street, but if you live here the real image of the city is the two towers at Poolbeg Power Station!

To the extent that attempts have been made to have the towers listed, since the station is now retired and slated for demolition and redevelopment. Unfortunately, the attempt was made when there were still morons with cash developers who might take the site on, so fat chance of that happening...

I resisted the urge to photoshop in the flying pig! Although a giant, inflatable white elephant might be more appropriate here...
