On A Winter's Day . . .

. . . in Christchurch.  
We had a fabulous lunch in a restaurant on the strip to celebrate the lovely daughters birthday which is actually on Monday but we will be away then.  The blip is a view of the Convention Centre that is due to open later this year.  A stop had to be made at the Whiskey shop to get a bottle to take to Stewart Island.  We drove out to New Brighton beach and there were a lot of families enjoying the brisk conditions. 
Tomorrow will be an early start heading to Gore.
