Blue Heron

This evening we went fishing out of Smallwood State Park. We dropped in our little bass boat and went into the inlet just north of the park. The heron were everywhere and it sounded like Jurassic Park back in the trees. It was so pretty out on the water and as I was taking a picture of a heron on the bank she took off. My camera settings weren't set for a bird in flight, but I was still able to capture her take off.
