Neighborhood family portraits

Today, I held a ‘reveal’, or maybe simply ‘watch’, get together with the 13 families whose portraits I took during our lockdown.

I printed two portraits from each family session and displayed them on boards in my front yard. The families were invited to come by, masked and socially distanced, over a couple of hours. They all did, some bearing gifts (very kind of them!) and I think we all enjoyed a bit of neighborliness in the open air.  I told them they could take the prints with them.  Lots of positive reinforcement for me and my photography: that also felt good :)))
