Busy bees business

We have a bumble bees nest in our garage. Our freezer is in there so whenever I go in, I can hear it’s steady hum.

It’s strangely comforting that a bee expect told me that it’s hard to annoy a bumble bee, and that the nests last for about 3 months before they all leave.

So I open the door slowly each morning and prop it open. I like the idea of the bees doing their beesyness in there. :-)
