Jumping the gun ...

Blippers who are involved in certain kinds of church will be familiar with the idea of keeping an octave of celebration of some notable event in the church year, beginning with the actual day and continuing for the following eight days. Well, we’re doing that, except that we’re starting early. It’s not our Golden Wedding day till Wednesday, but today we ate delicious chocolate cake and drank way too much champagne and saw our family, on this, the first day when non-essential travel was allowed to exceed 5 miles.

It was just lovely, despite the rain, and as a result this must be one of the briefest entires I’ve ever written. Cheers!
