Plan A today was to head to Sydlings Copse in search of butterflies in the wildflower meadow - there were a few, but the wind made photography 'challenging' - this small tortoiseshell was the only one to collaborate.

Plan B involved searching for wildflowers in the sheltered corners at Sydlings (a couple of examples in the extras).
