Flower Friday: Rainy Day

As you can see, we are having a bit of a dull wet day today.  Which is not so bad, as we've had plenty to do at home in the dry. Our daughter Jess and her boyfriend James are coming to stay for the weekend, so we've wanted to get the house as clean and tidy as possible and to make such arrangements as we can to enable a degree of social distancing at home.

As you may know, I enjoy baking bread, a process which inevitably leads to some degree of flour being spread around the kitchen, however tidy and careful one is.  Jess is coeliac and so I have been hard at work deep cleaning the kitchen to remove any possible traces of contamination.  Needless to say I won't be baking bread while they are with us, but fortunately the freezer is full as I baked a little extra during the week, planning ahead :-)
