Books with hooks

I can’t remember when, but maybe it was Christmas (?) when my sister bought m’boy a collection of books by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton called The Treehouse Collection.

To cut to the chase (because I want to sit and watch Hamilton tonight) he absolutely flippin’ loved them and giggled his way through them. He still re-reads them and now the youngest has grabbed the baton too and is often found like this, curled up under a blanket and giggling away.

These books are also largely to blame for the slew of bad jokes recently. Example:
