Battle...

Of the pheasants.

On the way back from Moffat to book nana's 90th birthday party we spotted these pheasants in a field next to a house. The lady of the house came out to talk to us, she feeds them every day at about tea time and she told us we just missed most of them as there are normally about 40 here. I asked if it would be ok to come back another day & take some shots of them all together. She was very happy to agree. She was a lovely lady, we chatted for a quite awhile about blip, wildlife in general & her wild pheasants. It was the first time someone has stopped to talk to me while I was taking photos in the car.
