To the lighthouse

The walkway to the lighthouse is best accessed around low tide as it crosses a short tidal beach. The track is only a kilometre but it took us over an hour due to the steepness and slipperiness. Definitely a case of two steps forward and one step back. Main shows the view north from the steps leading down to the crossing. Afterwards we continued by road around some more of the coast. Extras show the view south to Bream Head, the weather station next to the lighthouse and Matapouri beach.
