2020 Wednesday — Friends

Dick & Karen are friends from our Southern California community. They are here on California’s Central Coast for a few days for two reasons: to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary, and to look for property, specifically a “fixer-upper.”

A couple weeks ago Karen sent me a text telling me they were thinking about property here in Cayucos. So I have enjoyed telling her our story and what I know about the current real estate market here.

So we enjoyed dinner together this evening at the Sea Shanty and then came to our place for dessert and to swap stories.

Tomorrow is their anniversary. Fifteen years ago they each lost their spouse of many years and both couples were good friends with each other. A year later Dick & Karen we’re getting married.Their wedding was a huge celebration!

We’re curious to see what happens with them and the finding of a “fixer-upper.”
