Second harvest

I thought we'd had the last of the strawberries over a month ago, but the strawberry patch has decided to produce a second crop this year so I've started picking again. They're delicious. . Possibly better than the first crop!

It was very warm today, despite the wind! We went into the nearby town in the late morning and managed to avoid the crowds though it was rather a hot time to shop. We got most things on the list.
Had a good swim in the afternoon, when I had the beach almost entirely to myself, and then an early evening walk by the sea with a friend, followed by a drink at a bar on the beach. Supper got rather delayed , but that didnt matter. , Very pleasant.
