The Lookout

........ went for a quick walk over a couple of fields between rain showers...... just about managed to get back before the heavens opened again.

This dog ( a closer shot in extras) has a good view over the first field that I walked in and the blinking thing barked at me the whole way as I walked along the side of the field ...... I really wanted to mooch in the long grass at the side of the field for butterflies and insects but the pesky dog was too irritating, so I just walked a bit quicker. There’s no circular route on this walk so I walked round the next field and had to go back past the baying hound yet again.
Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs but this one was just soooooo annoying........ I was glad he was shut in his tree house and not able to bound after me, as he seemed very boisterous.
Anyway, probably just as well I didn’t loiter in the long grass or I would have got a soaking from the rain, so actually he did me a favour ;-))
