Missing

The swan family on its way for breakfast in the rain this morning, the other parent arrived with the sixth cygnet, but the seventh one, who I noticed had a damaged beak last week, was nowhere to be seen.  I messaged the Friends of St Ives group when I got home and got the reply that they had been informed that someone had taken that cygnet away in a van and they did not know who it was - they were not from the Swan Rescue who had been contacted last week about the injury - they are concerned about the little bird and are hoping he’s OK.
