Earlier that Same Day

Went across to my Mum this morning in Stromness to find her drinking a cup of brandy straight after her tablets.  She fell asleep!  I did a variety of messages.  When I left, I put her revolver on top of the press where she couldn’t reach it.

Back at HQ things didn’t improve.  The Current Mrs Creel was away to meet four pals she used to be at school with.  Whilst she was away, I managed to flood the garage (which didn’t go undetected).  However, the icing on the cake was me then making a vegetable curry.  It all went from bad to “There’s one ‘g’ in resignation.” as I spilled some curry and the mat is now in the washing machine.

I’m just climbing in with it.
