Triathlon, Kurdish style

Today Jerry's wish came true and the first triathlon took place in our city! He planned it with a kurdish friend who did slightly take over and make it not very proper as a triathlon but it was a good start! We hope it might become a regular event here. It involved:
cycling over the dam and round part of the lake;
swimming across the lake (J's friend wanted to bring his pet lion for that part, thankfully he agreed not to in the end);
Jonny went on the paddle board across and had a blast (he got pulled back across by the speed boat!);
then a hike up this mountain in the intense heat at midday.
It also involved stopping to drink tea (of course) and having a huge lunch!
