Thursday racing

Yesterday, I tore a tyre on the little electric car on a large rock which was embedded in the hedgerow in a very narrow lane. The tyre was so badly damaged it took a while today to recover the wheel from the car and take it to be repaired and then back to replace it on the car. Thankfully it was near to a car park and I was able to leave the car there overnight. Cars do not have spare tyres or Jacks anymore which made it more problematic. We were grateful to find a jack at home and could sort it out without assistance.
We took Indie and Alfie to the beach this evening and on the way home we came past the harbour and watched the yacht races for a while. These yachts were milling at the start line awaiting the start siren
