Buttermere Cows

I took a rather wet walk around Buttermere today.  The weather steadily declined and by midday it was tipping down.  The cows didn't seem to mind the rain and continued their picnic on the beach. Some of you may prefer the colour version of this which is in the extras; I just cannot make up my mind which I prefer.  Sadly some of my pictures were spoilt by raindrops on the filter.

EDIT:  Second extra is a composite image overlaying the mono on the colour.  This may be the answer!

Thought for the day:  Do Buttermere cows produce buttermilk?
