Empty Offices

While I was out yesterday I was struck by the number of empty office buildings I passed along Queen's Road. So today I thought I would make a small collage of the empty office buildings I passed while I was out. Most of these would have been homes at one time, and most will have large extensions built in what used to be the garden.

It is with difficulty they will be taken again for office use, so their long term future may lie in being converted into flats.

Quite a bit of activity at a couple of the hotels converting the car parks into outdoor covered bar and restaurant space. I have lost track of the phased reopening schedule locally, but presumably it must be soon.
