What do YOU see?

Yes it’s a selection of some of our empty shops in town. But what is your reaction? 
I see an opportunity! I think towns must change to accept people’s altered shopping habits. 
We have a general election in October so our new States (government) members have a chance to reconsider how the town is rejuvenated. Restaurants and coffee places will be a main constituent as will touristy shops and boutiques. But parts are never going to be bustling shopping areas. What is now called the Old Quarter was full of antique shops years ago. These are long gone and some shops have been empty for years. It looks a mess. There is no parking close by and insufficient parking in town anyway so people won’t walk up a steep hill to get there. Please stop flogging the dead horse; release these empty shops for housing.
I’m no town planner but something has to be done to rejuvenate our very tired town.
