Tin Plate

Several Firms enclose their products in metal containers which are often very colourful.

They are useful for storage and Pat often uses them for making sculptures.

Actually quite hard work cutting them up using tinsnips.

The day became quite hectic as our PI Insurance Renewal Paperwork had failed to appear through the mail. A quick email exchange with the broker resolved the matter. All paperwork and forms were emailed to me.

I filled in all the various forms, including signing with an Apple Pencil and sent them back by email.

(Job done and policies etc emailed to me before 8:00 a.m. on Friday). Excellent Result.

Also upgraded the sim tariff on my iPhone to 100Gb per month for the same payment.

I then set up the phone to act as a hotspot for my iPad and was astonished at the improvement in internet response. At a rough guess the download speed is at least 10 times faster than BT Broadband which is now stable.

It is unlikely that BT will improve and under a Scottish Government Initiative we will be offered another type of technology. Probably Mobile or Satellite.

However, no productive work done today. The next few days are forecast to be cold and damp, so a chance to catch up.
