Dartmoor Evening

After a busy day JD suggested a trip up to the moors to enjoy the late sunshine. I suspect it had more to do with enjoying his new car, which by any standards, is a bit of a beast. Quite a change from our little Smart car which I will be sorry to sell.

I wanted to take part in the Wide Wednesday Challenge this week so, with a large vista in mind, we headed out across the moor to one of my favourite hawthorn trees.

It's been difficult to choose between the south facing view or looking straight into the setting sun. In the end Ive chosen the former as my main but added the other in extras.
