Anna
I don't see many Anna hummingbirds, we mostly have black chinned. They are more streamlined. (I'm not going to body shame here) This Anna was sitting on the spent branches of the Elata yucca surveying his surroundings.
I saw a roadrunner with a baby trailing behind going through the yard yesterday. A first for me. I couldn't get a picture with Bunker barking at the door ready to play the coyote. The baby was already pretty sizable but that open mouth gave it away.
Had a bid on doing some work in the backyard. It looks like it is going to be happening within days. I am grateful for the small family owned businesses that are out there. I want to help them survive.
