No Slouch

Well I thought I was early but no sooner had I put down Socks' nightly treat, stepped back inside for a couple of minutes than I heard the dogs barking. How they hear him beats me but they do and are never wrong. 

The egg had disappeared and the  bit of chicken when I went to peek round my hide. He saw me and did a brisk trot into the grasses but not before I got my shot.  

A bit of a surprise for me when I checked the trail cam for the last few nights - we now have 2 hedgehogs! Excellent. This Hedgehog food is doing it's stuff.
