Six Steps to Dal

Not the title of a new thriller but just me making an old favourite. Used up all the leaf beet and kale and could have done with a bit more but was far too lazy to head up to the allotment today. Despite the recipe it’s never the same twice, just depends what I have to hand and how generous I get with the spices. Lots of grated ginger today so it has a bit of an oomph to it.
Suspect that’ll be the highlight of the day unless something really unexpected comes out from the Court of Session later. I’m not holding my breath!
