A long awaited visit ...

to Coppice Pond.

I’m not sure what was the biggest attraction, feeding the ducks and swan which created great excitement at first or the playing in puddles and mud which had inevitable results!

This is the juvenile swan being fed by Eda, the otherstigether with the cygnets were resting alongside the main path, as were the Geese and goslings. Some older ducklings were at the bottom edge of the pond near the feeding station and just one young duckling skitting around in the bay there.

In the thumbnail Eda isn’t eating an ice ream but a pear, this is how she likes to eat them!

She’s had a great time rediscovering all her ‘friends’ at Granny’s!
